Treasurer of CoFLAMES

Allison “Allie” Wicks is a Utah native with a diverse background and a passion for community involvement, particularly within the fiery realms of the Church of Flames. Born and raised near Snowbird, she developed a lifelong love for the outdoors and equestrian sports, a dedication that translates into focused action.

Allie brings a strong foundation of leadership and achievement to her role as Treasurer. As Head Trainer at Rose Ranch since 1998, she has demonstrated consistent dedication and drive, earning numerous awards for her equestrian accomplishments. These include captaining the gold-winning St. Lawrence University Equestrian Team at the National Riding Championships, achieving NCAA National Reserve Championship Equitation on the Flat, and reaching finalist status in prestigious national competitions. Her 29 years of professional horse riding experience and 15 years as a licensed official for the United States Equestrian Federation highlight her organizational expertise and commitment to standards. Additionally, her 20 years of board positions in equestrian governing bodies further demonstrate her leadership experience.

Allie’s connection to the Church of Flames is rooted in her 12 years of participation in the Burning Man community, where she has embraced the spirit of creativity and collaboration. Her experience as “Mayor” of Cosmic Recess showcases her ability to lead and organize large-scale events. Her enthusiasm for fire spinning and community building aligns perfectly with the mission of the Church of Flames.

While new to the role of Treasurer, Allie is eager to apply her proven leadership, organizational skills, and passion for community to ensure the financial stability and transparency of our non-profit. She brings a unique combination of discipline, creativity, and dedication to the Church of Flames.
